Khizr Studio is an architectural storytelling studio based in Cambridgeshire and operating across the UK. From concept development and pre-visualization to final delivery, we provide architects, developers, and commissioning bodies with the ability to communicate their work elegantly and effectively to their clients and planning authorities. Where standard production companies can offer high-quality production, they lack the in-depth knowledge of the design and procurement process to deliver a comprehensive architectural narrative; and where architects are inherent storytellers, they lack the production quality to tell these stories legibly. Khizr Studio is where rich architectural narrative meets exemplary production quality.

Khizr Studio was established in Spring of 2022 by Mohammed Khizr. Khizr is a RIBA Part II Architect with an MA in Architecture + Landscape Architecture. He has practiced architecture and urban design at a number of award-winning practices including JTP, Squire + Partners, and Metaphor. He has worked on multiple projects across a range of sectors. Shortly after it’s founding, Khizr Studio was shortlisted to produce films for the RIBA Stirling Prize 2022.

In 2019 Khizr established the Squire + Partners Film Studio and went on to produce films for the practice, and upon completion of his MA in 2021, was awarded the Robert Henry Memorial Prize from The University of Sheffield for his use of film in the representation of architecture and landscape architecture. Since November 2022 he has been tutoring film, animation, and visual storytelling at the Masters Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Urban Design courses, at The University of Sheffield and Arts University Bournemouth. He occasionally delivers talks and CPD’s at architectural practices, most recently at Levitt Bernstein, Cullinan Studio, and Hawkins Brown.
